Davangere Sugar Company Limited engages in the business of manufacturing sugar. The company factory is located on a land area of 152 acres at Kukkuvada village, 15kms away from Davangere city, Karnataka state. The factory is surrounded by fully irrigated sugarcane growing belt of 30000 acres. The Sugarcane areas are located within a radius of 35kms surrounding the Factory.
The company was having a sugarcane growing area of 8580 acres of land and crushed about 3,31,712 MTs of sugarcane. During the current season 2021-22 the company’s strategy is to crush 5,50,000 MTs of sugarcane and to develop sugarcane growing area to about 15,000 acres to ensure the availability of the sugarcane to the extent of 6,00,000 MTs every year.
