The company has a large music library with a collection of over 30,000 songs across various genres and regional languages. The co has produced and released around 40 Hindi films in the past 20 years and also sells theatrical, satellite, and various other rights to distributors, broadcasters, etc.
The co has various deals with Maddock Films, Dharma Production, Viacom 18, Netflix, TATA Sky, Excel Entertainment, and others. It also has broadcast partners namely, zee, star, Sony, and Viacom 18. [7] In FY22, the co-signed two deals with Hotstar, one is for the digital premiere and another is satellite premiere, followed by a regional deal with Spotify and a deal with Resso.

Necessity of the Issue :
- The Buyback will help the Company to return surplus cash to its shareholders holding Equity Shares broadly in proportion to their shareholding, thereby, enhancing the overall return to shareholders.
- The Buyback may help improve its earnings per share and return on equity by reducing the equity base, thereby leading to a long-term increase in shareholders’ value.
- The Buyback gives an option to the shareholders holding Equity Shares of the Company, who can choose to participate and get cash instead of Equity Shares to be accepted under the Buyback offer or they may choose not to participate and enjoy a resultant increase in their percentage shareholding, post the Buyback offer, without additional investment.
